Editorial policy
How FC Properties researches, writes, reviews and corrects what we publish.
Independence
FC Properties is editorially independent and free to read. Developers, agencies, brokers, lenders and governments do not pay for coverage, review articles before publication, or decide what we write. We do not publish sponsored or advertorial content. If that ever changes, such content will be clearly labelled and kept separate from our journalism.
How articles are researched
Stories are produced by the FC Properties Editorial Team. We start from primary sources wherever possible: land registries and government statistics, regulators and central banks, official visa and residency rules, and company disclosures. We use reputable independent research and news reporting to add context, and we list our sources at the end of articles where figures or rules are central to the story.
- Figures are attributed to the organisation that produced them, with the period they cover.
- Forecasts are presented as scenarios with their reasoning, not as certainties.
- Rules on visas, tax and ownership change; we date our articles and update them when the rules move.
Review and accuracy
Every article is reviewed before publication for accuracy, fairness and clarity, and the editorial team is responsible for everything published under the FC Properties name, whatever tools were used in research and drafting.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Significant corrections are noted in the article, and the “Updated” date shows when it last changed. To request a correction, email [email protected] with the article and the details.
Not advice
Our articles are general information to help readers understand property markets and processes. They are not legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Consult a licensed professional before making decisions about your own circumstances.
